Join the ASCEND tour for the 2019 Tour de France and experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the race up close while enjoying the French countryside and cuisine. Each day we will ride between 50-110km (depending on the itinerary) riding the same roads as the heroes of the tour.

Tour de France – Ride the famous climbs

We will climb the famous mountains including the Col du Tourmalet, Mont Ventoux, Alpe D’Huez, and the Col du Galibier, along the way staying at 3-4-star accommodation including the Sofitel Paris Le Frauburg located just 200m from the finish area on the last day of the Tour de France.

Tour le Tour in style

You will be guided by experienced tour leaders who have over 20 years of sporting tour experience, have access to Ascend tour vans, and be transported in the comfort of a large coach when moving location. Everything is organised for you including TGV train tickets at the start and end of the tour. All breakfasts and dinners are provided with light lunches included while riding the country-side.

The French Experience

Non-riding spectators will have their own experienced host and will be looked after with special tours of the Pont du Gard, Cathedrale Notre-Dame-Saint Arnoux and Roman ruins in Lourdes. They will have the option of being a part of daily riding activities, riding ‘shotgun’ in the tour vans and cheering on the riders at various locations on the course.

Le Champs Elysees finish line experience

The final pièce de résistance of our tour is on the final day when we make our way to the finish area as part of the Tour de France Triomphe Package where we witness the final stage and presentations of the tour – French Champagne included!

Team ASCEND

A special keepsake post-tour video will be produced for you to show your friends at home all the special moments of your time at the Tour de France. You will receive 3 x ASCEND Tour jerseys, a special memento from the Alpe D’Huez climb and much more.
