The Tour

Our 6-night tour is the perfect way to travel to the beautiful seaside town of Busselton, 2.5 hours south of Perth, and enjoy everything on offer during race week. Our tour takes care of all transportation and accommodation requirements with a range of options to suit budgets.

Each day our experienced tour leaders will provide a range of scheduled activities aimed at preparing you for the race, including course orientations, group training sessions and bike transportation. Guests can tap into as much or as little of the itinerary as they wish.

Our 6-night tour makes travelling to Busselton easy, as we take care of all the logistics of travelling to the event to provide a seamless travel solution, enabling you to focus on your race preparations.

Event Location

IRONMAN 70.3 Western Australia is located in Busselton. Busselton is a city on the southwest tip of Western Australia, 230km south of Perth.

Getting There

Busselton is just a 2.5 hour drive south of Perth (approximately 220km). By joining our tour, athletes and spectators will be provided with transfers from Perth Airport to Busselton accommodation.

Location Highlights

Busselton is known for its sheltered beach and seasonal humpback whale populations. The beachfront features the 19th-century Busselton Jetty. This wood pier stretches nearly 2km to the Underwater Observatory, where life in a coral reef is on view. To the city’s northeast, the towering tuart trees of Tuart Forest National Park are home to 2 species of possum.

Weather

The weather around race time in December is an average of 27 degrees. The days are warm, but the nights can be cool with the winds coming in off the sea in this exposed part of Western Australia.
